No One Should Die Alone

At the heart of my work as an End of Life Doula is the belief that no one should face the end of life alone. Whether it's through companionship, emotional support, or simply holding space, I am here to ensure that every individual feels seen, heard, and cared for during this sacred transition.

The Meaning of "Doula"

The word "doula" comes from the ancient Greek term δούλα (doúla), meaning "woman who serves." While its origins lie in caregiving roles, the modern interpretation emphasizes providing compassionate, non-medical support during significant life transitions.

What to Expect

How do we begin the process? expand_more
Our journey begins with a complimentary consultation to discuss your needs and values. We then create a customized plan that reflects the level of support desired, whether it's one-time planning or ongoing presence.
Is this covered by insurance? expand_more
Currently, end-of-life doula services are private pay and not covered by most traditional medical insurance. We offer sliding scale options and flexible packages to ensure support is accessible to those who need it.
How do you work with Hospice? expand_more
We are non-medical professionals who work alongside hospice teams. While hospice handles medical care and symptoms, we provide the continuous, non-medical emotional and spiritual presence that hospice staff often cannot stay for.
